Let's see, what we have accomplished. Saturday, we took a dance lesson at Arthur Murray Dance studio. Not bad! But I felt it was a little too simple and too slow of the learning process. And their price was so much higher than what we expected! What a robbery!! Then after that, we stopped by bridals by Dannielle and solved the BM dress problem. Robin, the salelady that my bms ordered their dresses from, seems a Newyorker type of person to me. :( Then we stopped by Men's wearhouse on the chestnut st.. Those guys were not welcoming us at all. Oh, well. That's fine if they don't want the biz from us. I feel sorry for them. But we did find that there is a very similar color for the men's vest which can match bm dress's color.
Followed by Rodney's wedding. Such a touching wedding. When the bride arrived, I couldn't help my tears. And when i looked at Rodney, he was trying to swipe his tears. So sweet! Here I grabbed that moment. The wedding was also very fun too. Their guests basically didn't stop dancing. A very lively group. Even though most of the time, we didn't join the dancing, we enjoyed to see people enjoying the event. And afton's dress was gogeous! I love the train of her dress. My dress doesn't have such a pretty train, so i think that i need a long veil with some details to compensate the train's plainness. During the reception, the toast from groom's dad, bride's mom and themselves, and also a lot of relatives were all very touching! My eyes were full of tears again! Or just I am becoming too sentimental nowaday?

On Sunday, we met with Michael's DJ Adam. Dave thought he was a very organized person. We will see the proposal he will come up with and also on the following thursday, I will go to thepros' wine and cheese showcase this time. Hopefully i can meet with the DJ lisa recommended. Then we also went to BBB to update our registry. I almost fell asleep on on of the picnic chairs in BBB store. At nite, we invited Yunan to YinQuan (jade harbor) for dinner, the restaurant that we were thinking to have rehearsal dinner there. So basically we were doing research on their food taste and store environment. Their upstairs is much larger than what I thought. So i don't think that we could book the whole floor. Probably 3-4 tables at the corner should be fine. Sunday nite ended up that we both fell asleep on the sofa while watching "china, from the inside" :)
Monday~ Meet with an officiant from the journeys of heart. This organization was highly recommended by several ppl. The lady, Irene, seemed very peaceful and experienced. I think that I will feel comfortable to have her as our officiant. But dave didn't really talk about what he thought about her. We will see. Monday afternoon, another dance lesson at 2nd st.. I liked the intructor at this studio better. But when we looked at the package, the price was still very high. It's just a robbery biz! But dave tended to pick them since he always wanted to learn dancing and their price is a little bit more reasonable comparing with the first studio we went to. So here we go. We booked the dance studio and our first private lesson will start on June 7th!
See how productive we were?!

Looking at two real weddings @ CD, I found that there was something lacking. But I just couldn't figure out what it was. From the photoes, the ballroom just seems so pale and no character. Maybe like dave said, because she used all white flowers then there was no depth of color. I want the photoes look colorful~ So I need to add more colors to the venue. But what exactly can I do especially with a tight budget? I think a rich color bouquet and center pieces also flower petals would absolutely help. But is it really important? I don't know. And maybe some chinese decorations? I hope I am more creative and spontaneous... Maybe given some time, I will come up with some good ideas.
